WOVEN GEOTEXTILES |
Woven synthetic fabrics are for soil, embankment and roadway stabilization and separation. This fabric is woven from UV non-degradable polypropylene tapes and has been NTPEP tested and approved. Our woven fabrics increase the life expectancy of permanent and temporary roads, trails, paths, and driveways. |
Woven Geotextile (Synthetic Fibers) |
Our Casmat is used in sensitive areas to build temporary roads where it acts as a separation/stabilization fabric for periods up to two years. By using Casmat end users do not have to incur the added expense to decommission temporary roads. The fabric possesses grab tensile properties of lighter weight (3.2 oz.) woven polypropylene/polyethylene fabrics. Casmat Jute Stabilizer is available in rolls of 12.5 feet wide by 100 feet long. |

Geotechnical Inc. |
Western Canada’s largest independent supplier of woven geotextile, nonwoven geotextile, erosion control blanket, gabions and geogrid. |
NON-WOVEN GEOTEXTILES |
Nonwoven geotextile fabrics are produced by needle punching 100% polypropylene staple fibers in a random network to form a high strength dimensionally stable fabric. The polypropylene fibers are specially formulated to resist ultraviolet light deterioration, and are inert to commonly encountered soil chemicals. The fabric will not rot or mildew, is non-biodegradable, and is resistant to damage from insects and rodents. |
Non-Woven Geotextile (Synthetic Fibers) |
GEOGRID |

Biaxial geogrids are specially designed for the stabilization and the reinforcement of soil. The single-layer biaxial grid is ideal in applications where granular soil is present allows for the effective confinement and reinforcement of the soil. |
Biaxial Geogrid (LBO & SBX) |
Uniaxial geogrids are engineered for all types of reinforced soil structures such as retaining walls, steep slopes and embankments. Their monolithic structure and compaction of granular material from the backfill over the geogrid layer creates an interlocking action between the aggregate and the geogrid. |
Uniaxial Geogrid (TT & UX) |
EROSION CONTROL - RUNOFF CONTROL - SEDIMENT CONTROL |
Erosion Control Blankets |
Erosion Control Blankets are a short-term double net and fiber erosion control blanket designed for use on moderate slope and channel applications requiring erosion control for 1-5 years depending fiber material (Straw, Straw/Coconut or Coconut), moisture, light, and environmental conditions. |
Turf Reinforcement Mats |
Turf Reinforcement Mats are designed for critical slope and channel applications requiring permanent erosion control and turf reinforcement. Mats are supplied with varying fiber fill material including Straw/Polypropylene, Coconut/Polypropylene or 100% Polypropylene. |

Jute & Coir Erosion Matting |
Antiwash GeoJute and Dekowe Coir products can bring soil erosion to a standstill. In applications such as reseeding, embankment stabilization and coastline reinforcement, these proven and tested materials have become an integral part of soil projects all around the globe. These fabrics provide solutions that work both in the long term and the short term. |

Enviroberm |
Runoff control that minimizes ponding, and maximizes vegetation growth. It will handle over 8% grades, and manages extreme water velocities and flow volumes with ease. Patented system design prevents the possibility of blowouts. |

Fiber Rolls & Sediment Logs |
Our fiber rolls are 100% biodegradable field constructed sediment filtration system. The Bio rolls, are manufactured from either 100% Agricultural Straw or a Straw/Coconut fiber blend and stitched with cotton thread between two leno woven biodegradable jute nets. The fill is applied at a minimum rate of 760 g/m2 and is netted on the top and bottom sides with biodegradable leno woven jute netting. |

Wick Drain 407 (Vertical Drain) |
Prefabricated vertical soil drain is one of the world’s most widely used vertical drain designs. It is appropriate for most ground improvement projects requiring vertical drain. Comprised of a two-part prefabricated formed polypropylene core covered with a spun-bonded polypropylene filter fabric. The fabric allows water to pass into the drain core while restricting the movement of soil particles which might clog the core. |
HYDRO MULCH - TOPSOIL REPLACEMENT GROWTH MEDIUMS |

Verdyol Hydro mulch |
A full line of prepackaged, hydraulically-applied straw fiber mulch. The mulch material are comprised of a mix of straw and flax fibers with soil amendments, and decomposed/composted organic fibers (compost or peat moss). |
TRANSITION MAT - ANCHOR REINFORCED VEGETATION SYSTEM - RIPRAP REPLACEMENT |
STORM WATER MANAGEMENT |
Scourshield - Anchor Reinforced Vegetation System |
Syntec‘s ScourShield, is a three dimensional double ribbed very heavy duty Turf Reinforcement Matting, (TRM), with high strength and erosion protection capability. ScourShield is classed as an “Anchored Reinforced Vegetation System”. |
Scourstop - Transition Mat |
ScourStop transition mat is a biotechnical replacement for hard armor. It is a mechanically-anchored 4’ X 4’ X 1/2” semi-rigid, polymer mat designed with voids throughout the structure which enable vegetative growth. Transition mats provide mechanical protection over highly erosive areas; like storm water pipe outfalls, curb outfalls, over-flow structures, and shorelines. |
Weeping Tile |
Weeping tile pipe comes in plain, perforated, and perforated wrap (with sock) styles. All styles are a corrugated single wall pipe - perfect for a variety of construction applications. 4” (150mm) pipe available in both 100’ (30.48m) and 250’ (76.2m) lengths. 6” (200mm) is available in 100’ (30.48m) only. |
